Our Amber Valley Housing family is growing.
As you know, we have been working with Daventry District Council as it consults its tenants about transferring to a new housing association.
In December, a massive 77 per cent voted in favour of the move.
This means that a new housing association, called Daventry and District Housing, will be launched. The organisation will join Amber Valley Housing in a new housing group - called the Brighter Futures Group.
The new structure will bring various benefits for Amber Valley residents. Being part of a bigger group means we can get better deals when it comes to buying in goods and services. It also helps when it comes to bidding for grants to build new affordable homes.
The resulting savings will be ploughed back into improving homes and services here in Amber Valley.
The new structure will not affect your rights. Amber Valley Housing will still be your landlord, and neighbourhood services will continue to be delivered in the same way.
Daventry and District Housing and Brighter Futures Group are set to be launched this autumn.
